He began his career at the Musée National des Arts et Traditions Populaires in Paris, working on the rural aspects of France before being appointed manager of the agriculture and food collections at MuCEM (Civilisations de l’Europe et de la Méditerranée museum) in Marseille. He is responsible for broadening the Euro-Mediterranean section with food and drink acquisitions. He curated the first semi-permanent exhibitions on the foundations of Mediterranean agriculture at MuCEM and was curator of its ‘Le grand Mezzé’ exhibition focused on day-to-day food. He participates in exhibitions in France and Europe. He also teaches folk art at the Ecole du Louvre and is President of the cultural ‘Routes of the Olive Tree’ foundation, in Kalamata (Greece).
