Camille Schnoor is a Franco-German soprano born 1986 in Nice. Her projects for the 2023/24 season include Mimì in La Bohème in Aix-la-Chapelle, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in the Isarphilharmonie in Munich and the Liederhalle in Stuttgart, the Foreign Princess in Rusalka at the Nice Opera, Ciò-Ciò-San in Madama Butterfly at the Vichy Opera and Hanna Glawari in The Merry Widow at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich.
She recently debuted at the Bayreuth Festival in Parsifal and she also sang Ariadne in Ariadne auf Naxos at the Limoges Opera and the Budapest National Opera. She made her debut with the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie directed by Laurence Equilbey, sang the Marschallin in Der Rosenkavalier in concert version at BFM in Geneva, Mimì in La Bohème at the Austrian Operklosterneuburg Festival and Hanna Glawari in The Merry Widow at the Nice Opera.
In 2019, she made her debut in Norway with Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte at the Bergen Opera and also at the Lorraine National Opera in the role of Hilda in Reyer’s Sigurd. Her interpretation of Ciò-Ciò-San in Madama Butterfly in 2018 at the Limoges Opera and Rouen Normandy Opera was unanimously acclaimed by the press and public and broadcast several times on France Télévivions.
Since 2016 to 2023, Camille Schnoor has been one of the principal soloists at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich where she sings, among others, the roles of Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, Mimì in La Bohème, Tatyana in Eugène Onegine, and Antonia and Giulietta in The Tales of Hoffmann.
