Yoan Héreau

The pianist Yoan Hereau is not a mere accompanist, but rather a real partner gliding with grace from one musical style to another.”

After full piano studies at the Conservatoires of Nantes, Boulogne-Billancourt and Lille, Yoan Héreau undertakes three Masters diplomas in Vocal Accompaniment, Vocal Coaching and Chamber Music at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.

He performs regularly as a soloist (Concerto n°2 de Chopin, Concerto en Ré m de Bach, Concerto n°20 en Ré m de Mozart, Concerto pour deux pianos de Poulenc), and as a chamber musician. He is particularly appraised as a recital partner for singers.

His versatility as a pianist leads him to collaborate with conductors such as Philippe Jordan, Marc Minkowski, Daniel Harding or Philippe Herreweghe in France (Opéra de Paris, Cité de la Musique, Théâtre des Champs Elysées, Théâtre du Châtelet) and abroad (Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, China).

He develops a keen interest in contemporary music, and participates actively in several opera premieres: Aliados by Sebastian Rivas, La Passion de Simone by Kaija Saariaho (chamber version), Thanks to my eyes by Oscar Bianchi, Giordano Bruno de Francesco Filidei.

He is currently assistant teacher for German repertoire class at the CNSMDP.
