Chief Executive Officer

Dominique Bluzet

First an actor, Dominique Bluzet combined his early stage appearances with the position of director of the Essaïon Theater (Paris), which he obtained at the age of 23. His career then oscillated between stage performances and directing. Passionate about opera, he went on to work as a stage director, first at the Châtelet from 1985, then in many of France's opera houses. From 1993 onwards, Dominique Bluzet took over the management of several theaters, eventually becoming Director of the Théâtres - a group that brings together the Théâtre du Gymnase and the Bernardines in Marseille, the Théâtre du Jeu de Paume and the Grand Théâtre de Provence in Aix-en-Provence - and, since 2024, the Théâtre d'Arles.

With an entrepreneurial approach and with a view to developing links between the world of culture and that of the economy, Dominique Bluzet created the ASSAMI association in 2008, bringing together friends and patrons of the performing arts in the Aix-Marseille region.

In 2013, he co-founded the Festival de Pâques with violinist Renaud Capuçon and became its executive director. Dedicated to classical music and inspired by the Salzburg Easter Festival, this new festival has gained in notoriety to the point of being recognized by the international press as "one of Europe's major festivals" (Le Soir de Bruxelles, 2023). Since 2024, the Festival de Pâques, in addition to its excellent concerts, has been offering the public free events throughout the Sud region, with the "Musique en partage" program.
